Our Founder

Ralph Silverman grew up in New York and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. After he graduated from Indiana University, he was trained as a chemist. In 1960, he drove across the country from New York to to Southern California with his wife and two young children to pursue an opportunity to start a business on the West Coast. That's the year he founded Maintex.
